Coach/Athlete

Back in 2013 we were approached by supermum Wendy Drake who after doing her first triathlon (on her hybrid bike) wanted help improving her three disciplines. A sit-down coffee was arranged and after a productive chat we both left optimistic about working together. Over the course of the last five years Wendy has come a very long way, predominantly by applying herself as well as any coach could ask for.

The 2018 season is set to be an exciting one, with a tough series of races planned including #OutlawHalf & #IronmanUK. By embracing a close athlete/coach relationship and always working towards a race performance mentality, now more than ever, she's ready for those challenges ...

Generic 'off the shelf' training plans, though sometimes helpful, are always limited - athletes are left to interpret sessions as they see fit with no direction, spontaneous feedback or genuine accountability. Those who tell you otherwise lack genuine coaching experience.

If you're an athlete who genuinely wants to improve, learn & grow your understanding of performance, working with a good coach is the single best investment you can make.

If you're doing #IMUK this year don't be too surprised if #theBoss (as we like to call her) comes past you midway through the bike ...
